Astronomy Photo of the Day!



Nasa provides an Astronomy Photo of the Day page which shows a new
astronomy related photo every day. Below is the Nasa Photo for today.

    Shari, today Nasa is displaying a video. It is rare, but every now and then Nasa will not display an actual photo. I'm sure tomorrow the photos will be working again :)

    gorgeous picture of the Horsehead nebula... one of the few i actually recognize!!

    Hello Shari, yes most people will recognize the Horsehead Nebula. I just wrote a small article showing people exactly where the Horsehead can be found in our night sky.

    ooooh! ahhhh! this is beautiful! i assume neptune's blue is digitally enhanced? it makes a lovely picture... i am so enjoying the daily pictures! thank you...
